AMPIRE Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer 6.5"

These high-quality dual voice coil (DVC) subwoofers from the BOLD series are the key to clean and powerful sound reproduction in the lowest frequency range, even at very high volumes. Naturally, they are optimally designed to be combined with other AMPIRE component speakers – guaranteeing a clean and harmonious soundstage across all frequency ranges, even at high sound pressure levels. The cone is made of a very lightweight and highly durable polycarbonate composite, and the specially developed butyl rubber surround ensures an extremely linear frequency response. The significantly oversized voice coil operates very efficiently and is optimally cooled in the unconventional magnetic drive. Despite its compact size, this subwoofer can also reproduce frequencies below 50 Hz with exceptional clarity. The ventilation opening at the rear of the magnet has been designed to be as large as possible and rounded, effectively minimizing flow noise and optimizing the necessary pressure equalization.
