Only for cars without a panoramic view, PR-Nr. KA0 or KA2: The compatibility of the door control units must be checked. There are two different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Highline "5") required for "swing mirrors". Highline is required. To determine if you have the correct door control units, the part number must be read using diagnostics. Example part number: XX0 959?9X + index letter such as A, B, C. Here is the location of the crucial question mark: ? = 3 = not compatible - the door control must be replaced; ? = 5 = compatible - the door control does not need to be replaced. For example: 5Q0959593X / 5Q059592X are suitable, 5Q0959393X / 5Q059392X must be replaced. In the event that the factory-installed control units are not suitable, you must use the control units from our "Accessories" section.
